Panel to discuss treatment of veteran issues

Join us for a panel discussion featuring special guest Jim Tuorila who will speak about the treatment of veteran issues at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 9, in 231 Hubbard Hall. Tuorila, a retired U.S. Army sergeant, is a Vietnam-era veteran who served in the Korean Demilitarized Zone from 1975-76. He has more than 30 years of experience as a clinical psychologist and is recognized nationally as an expert in both assessing and treating post-traumatic stress disorder. He has also been named VFW's National VA Healthcare Worker of the Year. Tuorila authored the book, "The Day I Died: A True Story of Patriotism, Faith and Survival," and will be selling and signing his book for all who attend.
