Watkins Visiting Professorship Lecture Series: Chemistry

Joshua Wand, the Benjamin Rush Professor for the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the Perelman School of Medicine, at the University of Pennsylvania, will give a public lecture at 3:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, April 10) in 224 McKinley Hall. The lecture will be "What Odell Beckham Jr. and 19th century man from Vienna have to tell us about how proteins work and how new medicines could be developed."

Wand will present a technical lecture called "No longer exotic: Entropy in molecular recognition by proteins," at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, April 11) in 224 McKinley Hall.
