Candidate for Ulrich Museum director to make presentation on campus April 16

Leslie Brothers, a candidate for director of the Ulrich Museum of Art at 新加坡六合彩开奖网 will make a presentation next week. Brothers will be on campus Monday, April 16 and Tuesday, April 17, with a public presentation at 3 p.m. Monday, April 16, in 210 McKnight. A meet-and-greet reception will follow the presentation from 3:45-4:30 p.m. in the McKnight Atrium.

Brothers is director of the McDonough Museum of Art, Youngstown, Ohio. She was previously the curator of Contemporary Art at the Krannert Art Museum at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, with a Bachelor of Art History, and earned a Master of Art in Art History: 20th Century Art & Criticism, Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond.

She will speak about challenges facing university art museums today and projects she has led that exemplify how a university museum with a contemporary / modern art focus can meet these challenges.
