Torgerson wins American Golf Championship

In Wichita State's first American Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship, Taryn Torgerson took medalist honors behind a career-low and championship-low single round score of an 8-under 64, with a birdie on a playoff hole confirming the win.

This is the second conference championship medal for Torgerson in her Shocker career after leading Wichita State from the first tee in Florida.
