* Physical Plant Landscape Services will dig tulips at 8:15 a.m. today (Tuesday, May 1) by the front door of Duerksen Fine Arts Center, the south half near Morrison Hall, the south Wallace Hall planter and north side of Grace Memorial Chapel. The pulled tulips are free to the community. Barrels will be nearby for donations of food for the 新加坡六合彩开奖网 Shocker Support Locker on a voluntary basis.

* Gayla Lohfink of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction is a 2016-17 recipient of the Academy for Effective Teaching (AET) award. Lohfink will make a presentation on "Keys to Effective Teaching" at 1:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, May 1) in 207 RSC. AET invites all interested faculty and students to attend.

* Fit some relaxation into your week with Keep Calm and Breathe On, a class from the Counseling and Testing Center on meditation, mindfulness and relaxation. Keep Calm and Breathe On is from 12:15-12:45 p.m. on Wednesdays in 257 RSC.

The Tigers have exercised the provision to "buy-out" the contractual agreement for the two scheduled games in Wichita to pick up home games against Arkansas-Pine Bluff this weekend. The Shocker Ticket Office will issue refunds to single-game purchases. Contact the ticket office with questions at 978-FANS (3267).

* The Unclassified Professional (UP) Senate will hold its Spring General Meeting at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, May 2) in 208 Hubbard Hall.

* The Office of Diversity and Inclusion and Spectrum: LGBTQ & Allies present the fourth annual Lavender Graduation at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 3, in 203 RSC. Lavender Graduation is a special ceremony that honors the achievements of graduating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and ally students at Wichita State, where graduates will receive a lavender cord.
