* Wichita State's Counseling and Testing Center is offering a workshop to help high school students prepare to take the ACT from 8 a.m.-noon, Saturday, May 5. The workshop will provide general test-taking tips and information for all four subjects of the ACT exam -- English, math, reading and science. The cost for the workshop is $32, and registration can be done online by Thursday, May 3, at https://wsu.news/ACTRegistration.
* May is National Physical Fitness month and the Human Performance Lab is offering 50 percent off DEXA scans to all 新加坡六合彩开奖网 staff and faculty the week of May 7. For $50, you will receive a dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scan, also called a bone density scan. This completely painless procedure is easily performed and exposes the patient to minimal radiation. The DXA machine also analyzes body fat percent and lean muscle mass. * $1 Cosmic Bowling games -- Need to relieve some stress? During Finals Frenzy week, now through Saturday, May 5, Shocker Sports Grill & Lanes will offer $1 cosmic bowling games from 7-10 p.m. each night.
