The $500,000 investment will create Wichita Promise MOVE. This pilot project will provide cost of living expenses including housing and transportation to students who reside outside of the Wichita area and require relocation. The program is designed to increase Wichita's skilled workforce by removing barriers that keep individuals from getting trained by paying tuition and fees for specific high wage, high demand jobs, providing training, credentials, certifications, personal career advising and a guaranteed interview upon completion.
