Join us for the annual Kansas Gender & Sexuality Conference (KSGSC). The KSGSC is a free, one-day conference showcasing gender and sexuality-related scholarship happening across our state.

The goal of the conference is to open dialogues, highlight the scholarly and creative work of students, faculty, staff, and community partners around gender and/or sexuality issues, and provide an opportunity to network across departments, universities, and community agencies within Kansas. 2024 will mark our 11th anniversary of hosting this interdisciplinary statewide conference.

Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Meg Paceley (they/them) whose talk is titled, "Health, Activism, Community, and Resistance in an Era of Anti-LGBTQ+ Policy, Legislation, and Rhetoric." The conference is free and open to students, faculty, staff, and interested community members. Feel free to drop in and out as your schedule allows.

The KSGSC is organized by the Wichita State Sociology Department in collaboration with a variety of co-sponsors.
